well thing is with big room house
its all idiots using nexus which is a preset based plugin
they use it then call it there own style and they say its all there own creation
its not, its someone elses sounds but just changed with basic filters
this sounds more like trance not big room house
mostly because a lot of the leads sound like trance leads, the drums are more dubstep/trance then house or big room house
the transition at 2:00, yea thats trance right there just with a really loud lead
you should really change some of the volume levels in this and always make sure none of the sounds are going way too loud
i always assign a synth to a specific spot on my mixer then add a compressor on every channel that has something there regardless of what it is
also a few drum hits in this don't exactly fit that well
at 3:45 that main lead really needs a compressor on it
also with vocals always compress them, transition from 3:45 to 4:24..... it was decent in my opinion, i would have reversed a crash drum and added reverb and set the decay to like 1.5 seconds
i feel like i know the drums your using and i dont know why, what one shot samples for drums did you use?
well as far as the song goes i just gave it my opinion on it
it wasn't bad actually
just needed some compression in some spots and maybe a tune up on some of the transitions

Trance? what kind of trance would this be, 'cause most of the trance listen to is the progressive trance, or the nice and calm stuff. The dubstep style drums were intended, because I wanted this to be on the more unique side of big room. I don't use compressors a lot because the song for some reason sounds over compressed and weird... Yes, the drop lead was too loud. I've noticed that... to late to fix it now. the drums i'm using I made myself by layering snares and stuff...

got a nice feel to it, rather dark and depressing actually
i like it, FX are nice, again the melodies are PERFECT for vocals especially yours ;)
mmmm i fucking love blip synths and you made a perfect one,
the piano lead was great, really powerful actually, i dont even think i can do better then that
you really know how to transition in a guitar
and make a great fitting melody with it
this is definitely going on my favorites list and i'm downloading this

the bassline actually sounds like a low reese
i feel as if real claps would work better not synthetic but either way it works
love the drum beat

this reminds me so much of an old racing game for the nintendo 64 i had called ridge racer
this song just reminds me of alot of the music it had on it

hate to break it to ya but it is FL , been using it for 9 years. and no its not harmor , all the sounds were made from scratch on either sytrus , poizone or synthmaker. atleast on this one.

well drums are just default, you should really not use the default FL drums as they often dont mix well with the song, also please tell me you dont use nexus i really hope your not one of those FL users as using presets is just not being a good producer
i mean some ambient elements are pretty good in this
just the drums ehh they kind of mess this up for me
i mean the song is good i will give you that just try and find a one shot pack for some different drums

Sorry for the late response, and to answer your question, no I don't have nexus at all as a vst, I make all of my noises from scratch except drums, yes the snare is default but the kick is not, so I'm sorry to disappoint you, as for that, thank you for the feedback!!!

303 in the beginning is too low pitch, try higher keys with a 303 especially if the song is going to be upbeat also it sounds like your editing the ''303ish'' preset, try making your own 303
its just a saw wave and a square with some res. and cutoff on filter one in sytrus, its what ive done for every 303 ive ever made until i started using reason and its thor polysonic synthesizer, making a 303 is so much easier then using sytrus and more fun
like i said you should really get reason 8 its really easy to use and i know youve had trouble learning the way FL works, with reason its the easiest thing and i could also teach you if you want

drums are a bit off not so well fitting aside from the clap
0:27 is were the song really kicks in

Those definitely aren't harsh words! Haha, this is a Work in Progress for a reason. What i really wish I got a little bit more of on newgrounds is criticism. While the kind words and praise are nice, the only way I can get better is if I improve the flaws and make what's great, even greater. So with that in mind, I have to say thank you ^^. I will try to get reason for myself, it's just slipped my mind, and by what you're telling me it seems like a good DAW.

well damn this took me by surprise holy crap
i love the saw bass and the flute type sound
the drums are pretty good actually for your first time you did quite well
but
the first 13 seconds could have been tuned just a bit more it just seems lacking
other then that this was pretty good
im not even in to hip hop or anything likem that and there are only certian artists that cna make it good and i like your style of it its quite awesome
keep it up im sure the finished version of this will be awesome! ^_^
